Music Trends : French-German Helmut Fritz

Back to 2009! Amazing buzz started on the net by the french-german Helmut Fritz (Victoires de la musique 2010).

Trendy glasses, ultra-trendy sneakers with carefully tousled hair, Helmut Fritz is more German than Karl Lagerfeld, more jet-setter than David Guetta, he's more rich kid than Paris Hilton. That is to say, we don't always think with our head.

The history of this hand sewn fictional character created by Eric Greff starts at Reinbeck, Germany. Only son of Rudy and Annegret Fritz, Helmut grew up in a modest family until he inherited the vast fortune of his great-uncle, Baron Fritz von Titten, felled by a herd of wild boars when hunting. Poor thing! Still, the young Helmut easily swapped his sweater knitted by mom for "cashmere" and moved to Paris.

Luxury shops, private parties, trendy clubs, chic restaurants became his favorite playground. But then, Helmut eventually grew tired. His dissolute life of "happy purse" as himself says, bores him to death. How did he get in such a pretty pickle? His new friends are buying their macaroons at Ladurée, dress Zadig & Voltaire, drive a Porsche or Lamborghini. Their girlfriends bear the fringe to Kate Moss, have the string coming out of jeans and only drink pink champagne - Helmut shout it loud and clear to success: "It annoys me!"
